• Create your account using a valid email address and M-Pesa phone number
• You are fully responsible for keeping your login details private and secure
• If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, reset your password immediately and contact our support team
• Each user is allowed one account only. Duplicate or fake accounts may be suspended or permanently banned
• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to create an account
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

When purchasing items on our platform:

• Review product details, seller information, and prices carefully before placing an order
• Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation message and can track it in your "My Orders" section
• You agree to pay the listed amount using the available payment options (M-Pesa or cash on delivery)
• Buyers must ensure their delivery information is accurate to avoid delays or failed deliveries
• Contact our support team if you have questions about a product before purchasing
• Inspect items upon delivery and report any issues immediately

If you're selling products on our platform:

• Sellers must provide accurate product descriptions, clear images, and fair prices
• Misleading or false listings will lead to immediate product removal and potential account suspension
• One-time sellers may list only one product at a time, while merchants have unlimited listings after subscription
• Sellers are responsible for keeping their stock quantities up to date at all times
• The platform reserves the right to review and approve listings before they go live
• Respond promptly to buyer inquiries and messages
• Honor all confirmed orders and maintain professional communication

Our delivery service works as follows:

• JOOUST Online Market offers free delivery within the JOOUST campus area
• Delivery times vary depending on product availability and your specific location
• Our delivery staff will contact buyers before arrival to coordinate the handover
• Payment confirmation (via M-Pesa or cash) must be completed at the time of delivery
• If an order is rejected or payment is not received, it will be recorded in the system accordingly
• Ensure you're available at the provided delivery address during the estimated delivery window

Payment options and policies:

• Payments can be made through M-Pesa or cash on delivery
• Once payment is confirmed, your order will be processed immediately
• JOOUST Online Market does not store your payment credentials (like M-Pesa PINs)
• All transactions are secure and encrypted
• Keep your payment confirmation messages for reference

All users must adhere to community standards:

• Respect all members of the JOOUST community — both buyers and sellers
• Do not use the site to post harmful, offensive, or fraudulent content
• Report any suspicious activity, fake products, or scam attempts through the Help page
• Users who violate market rules may be banned or suspended by administrators
• Communicate professionally and courteously with other users
• Do not engage in price manipulation or unfair business practices
• Comply with all applicable laws and university regulations

• We may occasionally perform system maintenance or updates, during which some features may be temporarily unavailable

• We reserve the right to verify user identities and seller credentials
